Hybrid technology - Plastic-Metal Combination

Overmoulded adaptors are used as sensor housings. They have a diameter of 8-12 mm and are available in different lengths.

In the course of a semi-automatic manufacturing process, a thin layer of plastic - about 0.25 mm - is injected onto the tube's inner wall and assures a form-fit connection with the metal surface.

This technology enables different internal shapes to be created, costly manufacturing processes to be eliminated and a tight connection between the metal and the plastic to be achieved.
